Serving the Tampa Bay Area for 63 Years
DeLotto and Sons has served our community for 63 years, and there have been many interesting people who have contributed to reaching this important milestone.

The man behind this remarkable company is the late Julius O. “Pop” DeLotto. Back in the 1940s he had a prosperous hardware and paint store. But for him that wasn’t enough. He wanted to do more for his customers and the growing Tampa area, so in 1946 he started a construction business specializing in commercial remodeling.

During the 1950s, Pop’s son, Julius C. “Jay,” joined the company. It was under his leadership the firm really began to flourish by placing a heavy emphasis on commercial building. This included extensive work at nearby Busch Gardens and serving as home/commercial inspectors for lending institutions. By the 1960s, the business was into all facets of construction.

Today our multi-experienced management team and a highly-skilled work force are led by company President Craig Lamberson. Under his guidance we have exceeded $50 million in annual volume, and we are recognized as a leader both in the construction industry and in our community.
