This 15,000 square foot facility serves as Berkeley Preparatory School's home of visual, performing, and fine arts. The Lykes Center's main hall is a 634 seat proscenium arch theater with a 248 square foot Orchestra Pit and state of the art lighting and sound. The other performance space is called the Flex Studio, a black box theater. The Center was completed under a design/build contract, and all work was completed while adjacent facilities were in operations.
