The scope of work included gutting the house to the exterior studs, adding an I-beam web system to reinforce and implement new floor structures, restoration of siding and windows, and completing all interior finishes.
Artists and craftsmen were hired to recreate interior finishes, including mosaics, marble, granite and tile work. Specialized painting techniques were used to recreate period styles. Additionally, DeLotto and Sons recreated the windows and moldings using the original specification and details.
The project was awarded the Excellence in Construction Award by the Associated Builders and Contractors.
